The school website addresses have been standardised to enable easier searching.

You can now access the respective school websites by just typing in the school website address (URLs) in the following format: www.[school name].moe.edu.sg where [school name] is the full official school name without the word 'school' and with primary/secondary/junior college abbreviated to ‘pri’/’sec’/’jc' respectively, where applicable.

For example to locate Westwood Secondary School, type www.westwoodsec.moe.edu.sg

Other eg.
for Raffles Institution, type www.rafflesinstitution.moe.edu.sg

AEP & MEP

The Art Elective (AEP) and Music Elective (MEP) Programmes, which started in 1984 and 1982 respectively, are offered to academically able students with talents in art and music at selected secondary schools with Special and Express courses and selected junior colleges. The aims of these programmes are to stretch these students' talents in art and music, and to develop individuals who would be able to provide leadership favourable to the cultivation of the arts in Singapore.



 
     

Assumption Pathway School to Start in 2009

The Ministry of Education (MOE) will enhance and enrich the programme currently available at the Assumption Vocational Institute (AVI). AVI will be transformed into Assumption Pathway School (APS) and run the enhanced programme in January 2009.

    2007 GCE A-Level Examination Results Released

    13,053 school candidates sat for the 2007 GCE A-Level examination. This is the first cohort of candidates who sat for the examination under the revised A-level curriculum.

      FY 2008 Committee of Supply Debate

      At the FY2008 Committee of Supply Debate, MOE political leaders spoke on preparing students for the future and on measures that MOE will be taking to level up opportunities for students across the education system. They also spoke on how MOE sought to provide more opportunities in university education and to strengthen Singapore as an Education Hub.
