Dropping a note to commend the team
behind Contact for reaching out to teachers in school.
The articles have enabled me to have better understanding
of what is happening in our fraternity. It has helped
me to understand my role better.
Thanks again!

I happened to see the email on contributions
so I thought I would contribute in offering some
suggestions for improving the editorial contents
and overall look for Contact.
(i) What about including a contents page rather
than splash the contents on the cover? (I think
the cover should have a few catchy and strong headlines.)
(ii) It would be interesting to include an editorial
page which comprises the editorial team giving their
views for the direction of each issue, e.g. Editor's
Page. Ms Aline

Dear Aline
We have placed all the links for the articles on
the Contact Homepage so that the reader is given
a quick glimpse into what is offered in a particular
issue, without having to click on a link to another
page.
We have not included an Editor's Page because Contact
Online is a bulletin aimed to provide quick and
timely updates on developments on the education
scene.
There will be an Editor's Page in the Teachers'
Digest, a print version of Contact which is published
on a quarterly basis. Teachers can expect to receive
the first issue soon. The Teachers' Digest provides
the big picture of education policies and initiatives
as they are introduced and integrated into the school
system.
Thank you for your suggestions and interest in Contact,
and we welcome more feedback so that we can improve
our newsletter to better serve the teaching fraternity.
