TLLM translates into spurring students on to be more motivated in their learning. Though teachers would be teaching less in the classroom, they need more preparation to restructure lessons into creative ones. The main aim of TLLM is to develop thinking students who would take Singapore into the future.

Mr Ang Han Hoe
St Hilda’s Secondary School

Cluster W2 has created a TLLM website to share teaching strategies and ideas. http://www.tllm.blogspot.com

Ms Linda Lee
South View Primary School

Are we still missing the point altogether when it comes to learning? With TLLM, the focus seems to be on pedagogy. Are we as teachers doing enough to understand our students better in order to effectively teach them? I feel that the statement should be changed to 'Understand More to Teach Better.'

Mr Ow Tai Pang
Serangoon Junior College

TLLM is a great idea. However it works better with academically stronger students and those who are more motivated to learn and explore.

Ms Yeo Siok Chin
Yishun Secondary School
